Cap Hook Up? Did I do this right?

Here is a link to a pic that I made that shows the way I hooked up my Rockford 1F Cap to my JBL 600.1 Did I hook it up right? The directions called for a Dist. block, but my friend said that I did not need one the way that I have it hooked up. Thanks!

Yup that is correct. Also you have a fuse between your battery and the amp somewhere correct? If not you need to do that asap.
