can't find info on this sub

so a friend of a friend has this sub, says hifonics titan on the cone but i can't find any info about it. the basket is broken but it looks like a standard four spoke design, but i'm not too sure cause i'm still kinda new at this. is this replaceable? is it even worth picking up?

since its broke anyways rip off the cone and measure the coil, if its 3" then im sure someone can recone it

Looks like ur gonna be a new basket and while ur at it just get a fresh recone... There are a few members here that could do it for you or FI/Atomic/etc companies could do it also.

As long as the motor is ok and the coil isn't something real odd then yes it is.

Try to find out what size VC it has and if u can't find it take apart the cone and measure it. Then get price quotes from assortated places.

all i have are these pics and i can't find a model number online. won't be able to get in contact with the guy for a couple weeks, so if it's worth it, i'll start ordering the parts and pick up the sub later.

I wouldn't start ordering anything until u know the VC size and what baskets will work.

yeah i was kinda hoping someone had hands on experience with this sub since i can't find anything about it and won't be able to actually see it for myself for a couple weeks.

a 3in coil isnt just a 3in coil there are differences, same with the spider, you might want to look into it more

also, you're going to want to call hifonics first. don't spend $150 on a recone if that was $70 retail
