Can ZX2500.1 Kickers take 1 ohm daily?

I would NEVER wire one below 1 ohm. Especially for daily use.
They get protect happy even on burps if wired below 1 ohm.

yea i just want to run it daily but i dont bump all the time just every once in awhile, im waiting to see on a few deals if i get some 15s at d4s, see i have 2 12s l7s right now and there 2 ohms and i had a kicker sx1250.1 on them for awhile and they bump good, but now i am getting a kicker zx2500.1 which it is rated at 4 ohms 1250.1 and 2 ohms 2500.1 so since that if i got these 2 d4 15s i would be bought the same setup as i had before just 2 bigger subs, i probally wouldnt notice a difference, thats why i was asking cause it would be pointless to me, but i am broke right now and i have to try and trade my 2 12s for some 15s and i kinda have to take what i get lol if you know what i mean thanks guys for all the help

not sure how much diff was the kx from the zx but i ran mine daily @ 1 ohm and it didnt even get hot worth a ****. i see some people say there's get hot as hell even ran @ 2 ohm. idk wtf me an ABEL did so special when we installed our amps but it seems me and him never had that problem with it getting hot or not runnnig 1 ohm and below. i even played it @ .5 ohms for brief peroid of times before the protect would kick in. only because i didnt have the voltage for it @ .5 ohms.

you dont need to upgrade electrical for a zx2500.1, aside from 1 extra battery, mine did just fine on stock alt, full tilt for 15 min. Got real hot though.

Some of them get hot, others don't.

Mine has a tendency to get REAL hot, but I've never had it shut down on me. I've had mine since 2006.

Why is it everyone feels the need tp try and run their equipment beyond it's means? If you need an amp that will run 1 ohm...buy one, dont buy an amp thats 2 ohm stable and try to run it at 1. Sure it could work, but thats not what it's intended to do. Besides, USUALLY you dont even gain much more power dropping it below it's stable resistance, you just decrease efficiency exponentially (notice I said usually). If you dont even have the subs yet why are you planning on doing this? Sounds kind of dumb to me.

ive ran 2 kx 2500.1's at 1 ohm before. like tommy said, some get hot, some dont. obviously the better the electrical the better the amp will take it. i would be cautious and not let it under 12.5v
