i agree with this. and what i mean is. i dont dislike all mainstream music. i just dislike them when they werent mainstream and meant something then commercialized and sold out.

Personally I hate metallica because they soldout and sued napster after saying it was all about the music and money didnt matter and they were a people's band / etc. =P

But seriously if you think all raps all about bass, checkout aesop rock or immortal technique, immortal technique has some daaaark rap

Had a friend who was all like "Gucci mane is the darkest rapper he talks about shooting people.." That **** is annoying, I told him "I bet you immortal technique is 10x darker" so he play's some "gangster" gucci song and I play this song after and he was speechless =P

dont fyi me son i never said mushroomhead came after slipknot im just saying both are the same and both are the jokes of the metal world. im sure youre one of those guys that listens to slipknot and disturbed and crap and thinks hes so hardcore maybe even wears a little makeup? eh sweetie? do ya? learn to play an instrument then get good at it. then go thru a couple bands play a bunch of shows, discuss music with other musicians then come back and ull agree that they have no talent.

You said they were posers in reference to slipknot. And I play bass guitar and have done a few shows. I don't listen to slipknot nor disturbed, nor wear makeup. They are actually quite talented and have a unique style that doesn't sound like any other band. I've seem them live at a really popular small venue in Orangevale CA and they put on one of the best shows I've ever seen. No they aren't Slayer or Cannibal Corpse (2 of my other favorite bands) but if you have a good ear or appreciation for music for what it is, you can appreciate all the subtleties in their music. But ya, some people just don't like their niche type style or genre, but that's no reason to hate
