Can you tint your lights?

imo that would be better then painting the outside of your lights.

I do agree though, tinting the whole light isnt a good idea. For you to get a decent 'look' out of it you would need at least 40%. That means 60% of the light your bulbs would be generating would be lost. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

black out the inside looks alot better. i had tint covers on my lights with HIDs and i couldnt see anything. ditched the covers and blacked out the crome in side. easy as pie. pop those lights in the oven at 325 on a cookie pan with a cooling rack on top of it with a layer of tin foil then put the lights on it then leave in for 10 mins. use a flat head screw driver to gently pry the lense off. if it doesnt come off easy press what you took off back on and put in the oven longer.

my headlights are blacked out like ^^^, but the part that actually reflects the light was left alone

i would take a pic, but it is 10 degrees outside and i am in my scoobydoo boxers

tinting the whole inside of the housing wouldnt be the best idea because it would dim your lights as well

so basically you want to dimish the effects of a safety feature on your car just for looks?

If you put it that way a Bass would by time hurt your health, right?

the thing is to make it look cool without hurting the light effect or just lossing small amount of light power

I don't see how dimming the brightness of headlights so oncoming traffic can see you relates to fish?

paint the inside of the housing, and build some angel eyes by your self and boom, brand new front end with minimun cost.

PD: I'll make it soon, just waiting the plexi to arrive.
