can you tie or beat this score?

SSD's don't have RPM's brah, they're not spinning a disk...
i was speaking of HDD's...SSD's are super fast but the size and cost is a waste at this point in time...

This looks shopped as you can see the pixel shading and I've seen a few shops in my time.

how much are SSD's nowadays?
the drive i have is like $285 right now.. i paid $315 ..bought at launch and still do not regret it.

alright so they're still stupid overpriced lol
depends. older drives are pretty cheap right now with all the new drives hitting stores.

u is a liarz.

Yes, the price to performance increase ratio is still way too far off...I like having new technology but I'm not dropping a couple hundred bucks on a freaking 120gb harddrive...
Totally worth it. Even with overpaying to get one of the first, it was still a small portion of the total system cost. Windows boots around 14-16 seconds to a browser homepage and games/programs load with very little, if any, load times.

The cost of 60, 80, 100, 120 gig ssd is really dropping to the point that they make sense for a boot drive for a lot more people.

there appears to be an abundant amount of nerd porn in here
no wai.. now this is nerd ****:

i can see using an SSD to boot from but it still is a bit ridiculous imo..
this is my first ssd, but i've been waiting for a long time. I remember drooling over ram based drives like 10 years ago that were barely big enough to hold windows 98 and cost like $6K.

After using it for a while, i feel like i should not have waited so long. it's gotten to the point where someone can get a 120gb ssd for OS and a 2tb hdd for storage for around $150 and up if you look.

I'm in love with the boot times. Tinkering in the bios and trying to get the fastest overclock with the lowest voltage is made much worse if it takes over a minute to boot instead of only 15 seconds.

Links please.

I would if my data rate would get above 5.9 running an i7 920 with a gritted true120 @ 4.5 stable. A batch too.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
