About $2/GB for internal SATA drives, more like $5/GB for portable or USB driveshow much are SSD's nowadays?
Its an Asus M50SV-A1. Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 overclocked to 3.0Ghz with a 6Mb L2 cache, 4Gbs RAM, NVIDIA 9500GS 512Mb GDDR2 GPU also overclocked, Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM HD, Realtek HD Audio card, and a Thermaltake T3000 cooler.what are your specs?
You got a 3dmark 11 score?
Yes, the price to performance increase ratio is still way too far off...I like having new technology but I'm not dropping a couple hundred bucks on a freaking 120gb harddrive...alright so they're still stupid overpriced lol
agreed...upgrading a GPU every so often is one thing....but upgrading the hardrive for hundres more for a few thousand more rpm is ridiculous.Yes, the price to performance increase ratio is still way too far off...I like having new technology but I'm not dropping a couple hundred bucks on a freaking 120gb harddrive...
SSD's don't have RPM's brah, they're not spinning a disk...agreed...upgrading a GPU every so often is one thing....but upgrading the hardrive for hundres more for a few thousand more rpm is ridiculous.
