Can you run components with a crossover off a 2 channel amp?

My head unit I'm going to install does have time alignment but I've never set it up. I am doing this on the cheap, so the 4 channel to get started might be the best idea for me and then I could get a mono for the sub later and use the 4 channel for the compnents.

yeah, youre probably better off spending the small uptick on the 4 channel to futureproof yourself
