I'm just about to trade in my JL500/1 amp and 12W6V2 for 3-10W6V2's and a Zapco 1100.1 amp to power them. I just am not crazy about the way a 12" sounds. I heard 3- 10"s and man thats what I like! Quick, tight accurate and LOUD!! I heard that the JL1000.1 doesnt push that hard on 3 10"s but the Zapco can.
Do you guys think that a Zapco 1100.1 could push the 3 10W6V2's effectively?
The 10W6V2's are rated at 400RMS each, so thats a total of 1200RMS. The Zapco gives 1100RMS total, but is known to be underated in their wattage. Normally you would like the amp to push more than the RMS of the subs, but in this case do you think the Zapco could handle the job?
What you guys say will help me go out and make these changes.
Thanx....
