you dont get all the money from the actual videos, its the tshirts, sponsers, and ebooks you sell along with it. ad revenue is pretty lame. like $15 per 100k views

You make content to generate views and ad revenue which are pennies. Then you get sponsors for product placement and later you get patreons to fund the real chedda. Some content providers will link sponsored products and get a few sheckles for each sale.
