Can you put extreme dynamat inside a sealed box with dynaxorb?

well they have the dynaxorbs for the inside of the box so i thought maybe dynamat extreme would work also has anyone tried this or how would it mess up waves? i thought it would make it bounce more and make it amplifly am i wrong???

so putting it in there then would be a bad idea correct?

and also i notice that dynaxorb has a sub kit for them which is 8 6x6 dynaxorbs will i need more than that and where do i put these at?

No sense using Dynaxorb in a sealed box cuz the backwave cannot interfere with the speakers front wave anyway. It's best used in door panel installations...but even then if you properly seal up the door you wouldn't really need it.

Dynamat is made to absorb vibrations by adding mass to the material in question. Unless you had really thin enclosure walls, I'd fail to see an advantage. And if they were thin enough, you'd have another whole slew of problems. Are you just trying to avoid standing waves? Because thats not going to have as big an impact then as you may think it will. If standing waves are that much of an issue with the box, then the box design is fundamentally wrong. Save your cash is the bottom line, not much point using any of that in a subwoofer enclosure. (Mids are a different story)
