Can you hit 150db with this setup???

2 12" type R's ported on about 2200-3000 watts in a blazer or explorer can hit 150 legal on a TL. Seen it done a few times.

no thread jack....but I was wondering I have a trunk car but my subs ported into my rear deck....4.5cubes 2 12" hw with ddz1a......tuned to 35~ish im not too sure....ported of course............

2 12" Type R's sealed in 2 cu ft each, seeing 500w RMS each in the trunk of a saturn facing back was ~136 at 43hz or something like that. I'v seen it with my own eyes. Obviously the hatchback will help a little bit.

friend i know just got back from best buy with two 12" type r's on a 900w kenwood (600ish rms) and told me he hit 206 decimals. I told him be careful man, 210 can kill you!

I have done 150 dB at the headrest with two Type R 12's in an ext cab truck with a Kicker zx2500.1 @ 1 ohm. It takes a little bit of power to do it, not just any person off the street is capable either.
