Can you help me tune my new Alpine MRD-M1005?

Hey guys. I was wondering if you could help me tune this amp. I know I got it close but some of these settings i just have No f*ing clue.

Example:

What should the crossover freq be?

30 to 200MHZ

Low Pass filter switch?

12 DB or 24DB oct

Like I said in your other thread try starting at around 75Hz and then make adjustments up or down from there to see what sounds best to your ears.

Low Pass filter switch?12 DB or 24DB oct

This is what 'slope' the crossover operates at, or how sharply the frequencies beyond the crossover setting are attenuated out of the output. Remember - a crossover isn't a brick wall that completely eliminates any and all frequencies outside of its setting - but the sharper the slope on the crossover the fewer frequencies outside of the setting will "slip through" so to speak.
Again - set this according to what sounds best to your ears.

Excellent. I got my voltage around 42 @ 1.5 on the gain. SQRT(1000*2)=45v

Although if I drop it down one notch on the gain (like 1.0) it shoots up to 70V. Does that sound right? The sub also doesnt really start bumping till around 20 on the volume although when I listen to my sys loud i have it around 32

from what i have noticed. if you have the gain set right there will be a point at low volume where you will almost have no sub output.
