Can you explain this ? Pics inside

Well For the last 3 days I been having altenator wine problems with my pioneer premier 780mp ( Happend out of the blue ) . I literally took apart my entire system in order to diagnose the problem. I even grounded the HU ground directly to the battery ground and bought new RCA cables. Well today as I was messing with the wires and what nots and I touched the Rear speaker RCA output directly to the metal backing of the HU and voila the ALternator wine was gone. I have never heard of this before so my question is what does this mean ? What can I do to fix it?(maybe buy new HU RCA cables later down the road ) Here is a picture that might help clear things up.

How do I do that ? And what do you think might had caused this problem ? I had this HU for 4 months and It has been working fine with no noise till now. I had never even use the rear speaker ouputs , they still had the clear cap on them .

A Couple of pioneer decks are known for having weak grounds on the outputs, IIRC.

I know I had one that had that problem.

take a piece of wire, remove about an inch of sheilding, wrap it around the outside metal part of the RCA's and tape it up

Well put it this way I tried the Eclipse and wasnt user friendly . The alpines went down hill. Maybe my next HU will be a kenwood.

my dad has a kenwood(889) and i don't like it as much as any pioneer i've used
