Can you cover the wiring w/ dynamat?

Hey,

I'm installing one of those dynamat trunk kits and was wondering about covering wiring with the matting? Is this ok or will it cause problems? The area I'm wanting to mat is right behind the liscense plate on the inside(obviously). This is a 00 Toyota Avalon that I'm putting it in.

I wouldn't just incase you wanted to move the wiring. Mat under the wiring.

For those tricky little places where all the wiring is how do you go about appling the matting? Do you cut little shapes and fit them in?

yes you can do that.

Place the wire on top, If you have a problem or need to access the wire you would be screwed over. It would be easier in the long run.
