That is pretty shitty though. There's gotta be some serious issues with wiring/phasing.

I can bassbox a high 149 with one 10". Haha.

Although I do have 9 12's in my 4th order lol Oh well. i always think more speakers draws a crowd

well the fact that half were inverted didnt help at all im sure.

something tells me he didnt reverse the polarity on the inverted subs.

im certain chris norris knows how to wire subs in phase and all that jazz.

the only thing it can be is reflections in that cube causing cancellations.

i bet if he put some dividers in there in an X pattern down the middle it would help out...

At that level of commitment, I'da hooked a test tone generator at 1hz or a lil' less to SEE the subs moving.

Ever seen mckinnies wall? Similar to that, with actually fewer subs, and 20 dB louder.

Something is most certainly wrong with the wiring. I'm sure there's some level of cancellation, but that much cone area not breaking a 140 is god damn pathetc.

Looks like more show than Blow.........No one competes with sealed boxes anymore....do a quarter the amount of woofers and go ported.

What they leak air? 30 15" woofers in a snug top has been done now move on, go ported and reallly make some number....hell I did 4-12" $35 powerbass blacks in a mono chamber ported box 4 years ago off of a single Crossfire 1000D and hit a 146.7.

Yehhh...they leak air..........out the opening of the design.....it acts like a bigggg 4th order in some way...i dont know the dynamics of it but it gets the job done

Less strain on equipment for the most part.......Tommy is an exception.....more subs less watts per sub, play all day

One battery OEM alternator....and as i said the POwerbass blacks are like 300 rms. SVC not bad in my opinion.
