and on top of it, theres probably an airspace difference with the subs mounted motor in vs motor out, i really doubt he took the difference into context.

I know shit about this so let me ask....

would the way the air moves in the box on top of the motors make a difference? like refract in some way that it counter acts the sound waves from the opposite subs? hell if i know.

Looks like it would cancel out or like you said wired out of phase. Still, that is weak as hell! Heck my one 12" CVX is doing that off 750.1, lol! Although I am out of the loop as I haven't competed in a long time and not familiar with bassboxing.
