can u beat $86/50 ft of 1/0 wire?

I highly doubt he's selling OFC for that price and I also doubt he lied to you so I'm going to guess that you're mixing things up.

OFC is pure copper, CCA is copper clad aluminum. OFC>CCA. Either will do the job though as long as you know the limits of the wire.

If it is CCA then there are some preorders over on CACO if you can wait. 1 is for $50 shipped.

I know the diff in wire if I use CCA I will use 2/0 to compensate

Are you planning an SPL build now?

edit: Even if the price is before shipping I can't see how you're going to get 50 ft of OFC 1/0 wire for $86. Even an undersized CCA 50 ft spool I can order, but will never sell, costs nearly $80. The cost of copper and shipping is too high for that to add up.
