ok i have been spending many hours reading about aero ports and everything that ppl keep asking. im simply confused and an answer will quickly put me at ease and allow me to start the new build.

im goin to build a 5cuft box after all disp. im goin to place port half in the box and the other half externally through the cabin. now i need to know how many and wut diameter aero i need. i can figure out the length on the psp-inc according to the freq i want later. the reason im confused is because supposely 12-16 sq in of port is the rule of thumb but aeros only need 8-10 from wut i have been able to gather up here on ca. so now i just want a quick answer. the sub will b a single 15" D1 BTL fullyloaded powered by zx2500. wut size and how many? ill be tuning between 32-35hz

Do you not know how to find the area of a cylinder, you have 5 cubes. Go for 60ish sq " of port i guess. figure it out.

This will let you figure out how long but as far as how big (4" 6" etc) you should be able to figure that out.

Didnt you already find that out? 6-10 is what i researched so just stay in around 8 or so since you read 8-10. If i remember right mine is a little less than 9 sq in and it sound great.

I wouldnt port thru the deck myself but you say 5 after displacements right? how can you figure that out if you dont even know the port volume?

hell for that sub in that airspace run 1 6'' aero.. thats what we always run with 1 15'' in enclosures about that size .. use this for tuning...PORT Size Calculations and Formulas for WOOFER and Subwoofer BOXES

make it about 12'' flare to flare should be in the low 30s...
