Which will render more debeez: 2 12" Type Rs or 1 9515? (Orion 2500D)

After seeing the great deal for Type Rs on Crutchfield I am contemplating going through with obtaining a single 9515.

This will be a trunk build, and I have enough volume to make proper ported enclosures for either.

I will send the 9515 a good 2500Wrms or each Type R a good 1250Wrms.

I'm sure the Type Rs will get smelly pretty quickly off that power, but I've seen guys give them that power and make some nice numbers.. So what do you all think?

Uhh... NO COMPARISON! The DD9515 is far and away a better sub. In a decent enclosure it will blow some type r's away. That's like comparing a Corvette to a suzuki sidekick.

Not true. Its like compairing a new Corvette to a Fox body. While a stock corvette will beat a stock fox body, the Fox body can overcome it with some more POWA

dude go for the 9515 im throwing about 1k on mine after recone and gets loud and still hits the lows tuned to 39hz and i have another 1500d sitting here waiting to strapp them bishes at 1ohm

I forgot how cheap Type Rs are. I'd get the 12"s. Save a ton of cash and likely get the similar deebeez.
