can subs face each other?

I've got an extended cab s10 and I'm thinking about putting the subs into the whole where the seats go. I would remove the seats and build the enclosure out of fiberglass or something. Or would it sound better to just face them forward on the back wall. I'm going for SQ here so the boxes will be sealed. BTW I'll be running two MTX road thunder 10's in parallel from an MTX 5400x. Thanks for any input.

From what I understand from your post, the subs will be at opposite sides of the extra-cab space firing towards each other. I see no problem with your design there. Its perfectly fine for subs to face each other. There are circumstances where face-to-face design can be a problem....but yours is not one of them. I say go for it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
