if you didn't.. you were about 2 minutes away from frying what ever those went to..word lol
jlaudio 1000/1 i was testing to make sure it worked(which it did)if you didn't.. you were about 2 minutes away from frying what ever those went to..
Wire is wire. You can use it for any purpose you want, it's a question of amperage and how much load it can take. If you want you can buy 1/0 gauge kicker hyperflex and use it to wire your speakers. It doesn't matter. It'll work.huh? i was asking if i could extend my wire harness of my headunit with 12 gauge speaker wire. i dont even know if they make 0-4 gauge speaker wires.
ouch.. I am suprised i didn't kill my amp.. I had 2 batteries.. a stocker and an hc2400..jlaudio 1000/1 i was testing to make sure it worked(which it did)
didnt hurt the amp but i eventually killed the amp from low voltage //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

a 2607d on my btl.. well the wire from the front to the back batt came off and i was playing for 2 days full tilt on the hc2400 not hooked to my alt.. it took it like a champ..
Not entirely correct, the load capacity of wire depends solely on length of the wire. You would be fine running 20+ amps on 12 gauge is the run of wire was only a foot, however a typical 15 foot run to the trunk of a vehicle you are correct you will have some fire in your future.look.. wire has volt and amp loads it can carry.. it has specs.. with 12 ga wire you can't run an amp unless its pulling like 20a or less.. or you will melt it and or cause a fire..
it was a guesstimate.. i didn't look it up i ballparked it.. besides the fact he said battery to amp..Not entirely correct, the load capacity of wire depends solely on length of the wire.
