if the amp makes power, it'll power a sub.... in this case, it'll power it fine

if you are talking about the amp pushing the sub to the absolute limit, probably not, would need more power or a super efficient box.

DD M1C on good electrical will output 1600 to 1800 watts (thats a good amount of power for any single sub).
The real question should be "can my car physically produce enough power to run the m1c " ? (1600 watts on substage alone is serious power, stock alternator/battery in most cases won't even give you half that wattage).
