Can i wire down to .5 ohms nominally?

Just asked the main question hoping someone would have experience with the ASA series amps. And no, buying a brand new amp for no reason wouldn't be the logical solution, buying D4 subs to work "right" with my amp would. However, some amps take .5 no problem, so figured i would ask the question. And, i can get the D2's for $100 cheaper, so thats why i initially asked. So i'll just go with D4 subs and be done with it. But thanks everyone for the responses that helped.

It would probably work. Wont know til you try it. That's been the answer all along

One more question since i've never wired that low. If i don't just run the **** out of the amp, even though it's only "1ohm stable", would the amp not have a problem at low levels like when i'm just normally listening to music? Say, it doesn't like to run for And this goes for all amps, not just mine.
