Can I step up but keep my amp?

Right now I'm running an Elemental Designs 16Kv.2 in a 2.2ft^3 vented enclosure tuned to 30hz powered by a NiNe.2. I'm relatively happy with the 16Kv.2 but I'd like to change things up and try something new. Is there a sub I could step up to (meaning more output and better sound quality, SQ being the bigger concern) but keep my NiNe.2? For those of you who don't know the specs, NiNe.2's put out ~400w RMS @ 4ohm. Price range is pretty broad but lets try to cap it off at about $300.
