Can I run these tweeters?

My tweeters are garbage and want to replace them

My current setup is Alpine Type S components.

My amp is around 100x4 at 4ohms

I was wondering if I can run these tweeters instead?

Impedance: 2 Ohms

Power Handling: 50 Watts RMS

Power Handling: 150 Watts Peak with supplied crossover

They probably won't work with those xovers, unless the orignal tweeters impedance was 2 ohms.

That is of course if you are running passive.

If you are running active you might be able to run them, but more details would be needed, such as an Fs, or rec. xover point/slope

Out of curiosity, what kind of tweeters are those and where did you find them?

Why waste time upgrading tweeters on a cheap set like the Type-S? There are plenty of good comp sets out there for$150 or less (PG RSd for one).

Here's a great replacement, or a start to a good upgrade. PacParts has the Alpine Type X tweeter, which is a rebadged Vifa XT19 small format tweeter. Very nice tweeter. They're $14.00 each on PacParts which is an insane deal for the quality.
