can i run 2 sundown sa12s on 1 hifonics brutus 1700.1d amp

I got this hifonics Brutus 1700 amp and want to know if two sundown sa12's can handle 1700 watts daily. I'm sure they can but I just want to ask in case someone is currently running something close to this setup.

they can handle it easily as long as you set the gains right.

of course they can handle 700 watts each! I'm saying 700 because that amp doesn't out put out more than 1400 after voltage drop, and impedance rise. those subs can probably each take there own 1000 if clean

after rise, its likely to be a lot less actually.

Thanks for the quick reply. Guess that setlles it. I'm going to buy the 4 ohm dvc subs as a Christmas present to myself!

That'll work out. Wire each sub's coils in parallel down to 2ohms, then wire the two subs in parallel down to 1ohm.
