can i hook 2 subs to a one channel amp ?

if yes how ?

i currently own pioneer premier TS-W126C dual voice coil sub each voice coil is 4 ohms .....

i have 2 of these subs i want to connect to a one channel amp how am i suppose todo that

thanks

pioneer premier GM-7150M

• 250 Watts x 1, at 4 ohms

• 360 Watts x 1, at 2 ohms

• 80 dBA Signal-to-Noise Ratio (Reference: 1 Watt Output)

Load Impedance Capability 2~8 Ohm

this is the amp i am currently thinking of getting but not sure....

it depends if your amp with bridge with a 2 ohm load or a 8ohm and are they single voice coils or duals? I dont know much about the pioneers

He has a one channel amplifier. His subwoofers are DVC 4 ohm. I got that by reading his original post;)

I would go with another amplifier... Your optimal situation would be to have an amplifier that puts out its highest RMS rating at a 1 ohm load, because you have DVC 4 ohm subs your wiring options are 1, 4, and 16 ohm final loads. So with this amplifier, those subs will only see ~125w each, before impedance rise.

What is your price range?

i can each sub can be turned in to a 2ohm .... single 4ohm or 8ohm but i have 2 so....

2x2=4

4x2=8

8x2=16 ?

how can i have 1 ohm load ? on each sub....

and price range 100-150

You can wire both subs to a 2 ohm load in parralel, and then wire them again in parralel to cut that impedance in half for a 1 ohm load. I assume you have not looked at the wiring guide as I suggested...

just tired, and was readn something else at the same time, notice i edited it before you posted lol.I was re reading my self and I was like wtf did i just type that for

im trying to dl the guide from the pioneer website

and i dont want 1 ohm

2ohms minimum each sub thats good 4 me

and even if i can get 150-200rms to each sub in 20hms ill be happy

You can NOT get a 2 ohm load from two DVC 4 ohm speakers, it is NOT possible. You dont want one ohm? What is your logic behind that? You can have 2 ohms per sub, which will still be a 1 ohm load when hooked up to a mono amplifier.
