btw my tips are for the 4 12 L5's that you said your gonna get. if you are building a box for the 4 10's again then it needs to be a little smaller then what i said.

i'll try that size box for the L5 12's

that's around the sixe box that tim schaffer has in his rex with ports outside.

should i do ports in or out.

also will i gain anything from some sound deadning the rear of my rex.

well i'll tell ya the guys that are local to me that won the stock classes last year in crx's had ports inside. and deadening is entirely test and retest. and in order to get the ports side by side you may have to trim a little plastic off the mounting ring of the port flange. If you make your hole 4 1/8 inches the tube will be all that fits have a flare on teh outside and the rest inside. then you can slide the whole works in and out of the box to change box size/tuning. lots of tricks to try jsut a matter of having lots of time to play.

when i put this box in i had ports to the rear and it would only do a 148

so finally i fired ports to driver side and did the 150.2

then moved meter to driver side and 150.3

but i don't have any deadner in car yet.

tomorrow i'm gonna start deadning, if i can borrow my friends meter.

but everyone is freaked that it's louder with ports to driver side.

i think with the rear pannel deadened it'll be louder ports back.

i was doin 145's with a single 12" cvr. of course i was doing warranty work every time i would go to a comp... so i dont see why you cant do it with 4 10"s

a 150 on the floor with a TL is easy. You should be able to do it with one 10 for sure.
