Can I blow it?

I just bought a Rockfard Fosgate P2 12 inch subwoofer. Its says it will take 200 watts RMS and my amp is Pumping 150 watts RMS BRIDGED. My Head unit is pushing around 50 watts or 17 or so watts RMS. If i turn it alot really loud and shit can i still blow my Sub? Cuz it is really tight in the box i have and im not sureif i ****ed it up or not. It still pumps but i get a buzzing noise. It was tilted to where it was pointing and up and i think i fixed it now. Just wondering!!!

I think the buzzing sound is caused by the tiltness bridging factor. Sounds like the sub has been placed too tight in the box also.

+1, loosen the mounting screws, untilt the box, and do not bridge the amp!!

Lemme put it in a some better words. I was in a rush sorry guys.

It was sitting in the back of my car with the sub pointing up. It was after i played a REALLY crazy bass song that i got rattleing. I thought i blew it. I then checked back there and the actual sub seemed tight. The head wouldnt move barely at all and and was making a buzzing sound if i push on it. It is pretty **** cold here in georgia so it might be that. But i thought i blew it. I let it sit now for a couple hours. And i turned it back on its about 11pm so i cant really crank it. But i dont hear teh sound anymore. But that could be from not getin loud enough. You think that it is because my box is sealed and NO air is being moved in and out of it? Pretty much like pulling a muscle and you cant move it? Please get back with me.

Heres the specs:

i have JL Audio 300/4 amp

2 components runing off the front channel

1 12 Rockford Fosgate P2 12 inch sub bridged of the rear channel on the amp.

Could that sound be from the trunk rattling and not the sub? Also, there is nothing wrong with having a sealed box. You don't want any air to be going in and out of it.

Naw i took the actual sub out when it was doin it and it still made the rattling noise. You think its cause the cold and i just cranked it to much when it was cold? Im gonna look at it tomorrow. I dunno i might just buy another that will handle a lil more that i dish out!
