Can I blow it?

Im gonna be honest. I dont really know much about car audio. Im good with Cabinets and shit but audio just aint my thing. I just bought my p2 and the Guy set it up for me. I definately cranked this ***** up but i didnt think it was THAT loud. even if i cranked my stereo all the way up and my sensitivty was set right could i blow that subwoofer? Cause if its a NO then im happy if it is a yes then ill probably have to get me a new sub and probably a better one.

Power doesnt blow subs, distortion does. If the guy who set it up for you knew he was doing he would've set the gains to a certain level and told u not to go pass a certain volume on the HU (usually 75%). If not then you probably turned the volume up too much and the amp was sending clipped signals to the subwoofer. Which can cause it to blow.

aight well thanks for the help guys. I got this crap listening to a song with more than one bass line in it and i think that might have done it doin alotta different frequencies at once or somethin, i dunno im retarded with this shit.

Im made to play music with guitars not produce shit with subs lol.

I really appreciate all the help guys!!!
