Can someone tell me the best amp.. I have a JBL GTO-1214 sub 350 watts RMS and 1400 watts peak and its 4 ohms. What would be the best amp to run it that wont cost me $200-300? I wanna spend less than $150 on an amp. Its in a sealed box. I have tried a couple of amps and they were crappy brands. I tried Pyle and I've tried a pioneer amp but they just didn't have the sound i wanted. I know it's not the speaker because when i built my box I took it to the local audio shop because my friend who works there asked to see it. He hooked it up to a JBL 1000 watt amp and it performed much better than those other two amps I had, I just don't have $300 to spend on an amp.

You dont want to push your sub too much past its rms with your amp try looking here in the classifieds, id shoot for an amp thats 300-450 RMS

Do you have upgraded mids? Maybe get a 2 or 4 channel

Yes my mids are Kenwood all around. I am going to run two amps. one for subs one for mids

you can get a cheap mono block for it... just depends on how "good" of quality you want. i would stay away from pyle... you can check the classifieds... or buy new...

Are you willing to buy used? you can get A LOT more for your money.
