Its in a sealed box. I have tried a couple of amps and they were crappy brands. I tried Pyle and I've tried a pioneer amp but they just didn't have the sound i wanted. I know it's not the speaker because when i built my box I took it to the local audio shop because my friend who works there asked to see it. He hooked it up to a JBL 1000 watt amp and it performed much better than those other two amps I had, I just don't have $300 to spend on an amp.</p></blockquote><p></p>
