no attitude here i think this is fun debatin ova stuff myself.

see i'm more like a doctor does a doctor fix problem no, he temporarily relieves you, so u can come back in 2 weeks and pay another 100 bux. And wt the economy bein all bad and stuff y not let people temporarily fix there problems thats gonna be ur tax money that ur gonna have to spend extra, y not let someone else stimulate the economy??

that is the dumbest thing i've ever heard but ok. a doctor desn't relieve you of pain he analyzes your problem and offers you a solution if there is one. i for one believe doctors are a good thing but that is off topic. this issue has nothing to do with the economy and there are a lot of reasons as to why the economy sucks right now but i wouldn't expect you to know that. it's all doctors fault right?

hmm no actually doctors help because of people gettin there 100 and 200 dollar prescriptions filled every week.. doctors don't solve problems....temporary relief..

hook up resister to it.....(or a 12v test light) when the light turns on i believe the cap is full...or is it turns off?? dont remember...sorry...

its a Digital cap. When i hooked it up yesterday the numbers were between 12.00 - 14.00. I dont know ANYTHING about caps. i think the numbers are supposed to show all the time? becasue sometimes the numbers went out(as in my cap was dead). I also dont know how long i should wait till i try the amps on it. Is it possible that my cap is not gaining power thats needed for some reason?

i'm thinkin it was showin how many volts the the cap was puttin out.... If it went out i dont think you charged it long enough...

I agree.. the #'s are always susposed to be on.. anyways.. if caps are so hated.. why are they used..? How much does it cost to rewind your alt..? & what would that accomplish if done..?

it accompishe's more than you know. a cap is stupid pointless and a waste of money space and wire. it's like going swimming with a cut on your face that you just did that day. now you put a bandaid on but it isn't waterproof, do we think it will help keep your cut covered?? NO same as a cap.
