i am looking at upgrading my wires so i can run 2 amps a mono block and a 4ch, i have an alpine mrp f300 4ch amp rated at 300w peak and 50x4 rms and a kicker dx250.1 which is 140w rms and 300peak i think, using a 4 gauge wire will it damage the low wattage amps?

No... Why would you think that? i use 1/0AWG on my 4 chan amp 50x4 rms
Talk about overkill lol... I have a 1200watt rms 4 channel and I don't even use 0/1 for that haha

4 guage is good up to 1200watts from front to rear of the car, can handle 2400+ at short distances.

Important thing is to make sure its OFC, CCA is poop.

i think the one i got is cca //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif but i am only going to push 350w rms, prob not even really that much. but i was told i should upgrade from 8 to 4 gauge

this is what i got: StreetWires ZN3K-04

i am more for clarity more so than huge bass, if i get that wire and plan to upgrade to higher watts, i will prob never get 12's or dual 12's or anything b/c i listen to mainly country so don't need the booming bass, would that wire be good for upgrading later on down the road?

LOL current man all about current.... and cca 4AWG is prob good for around 80 amps depending on quality

lol either way overkill haha, could use 1/3 that with the same or similar results... 0/1 for 50x4@4 haha

I have a 1000 watt amp that hardly takes 4 gauge and I have two runs of 2/0. Cca but still.
