camry enclosure

i own a camry that i plan on putting 2 type r's in w/ a ported box. i was wondering how big of a box i can fit in one. so if anyone has a camry 92-96 that they have done an install on what were the dimensions of the enclosure and was it difficult to put in.

i have a 94 camry xle and i was able to fit 38.5 x 18.25 x 14.5

u could squeeze another .5 on height and another inch length and 2 inches on depth.

id say your max is 40 x 20 x 15

did you take out your tension bars?

I also have that generation camry, and I can barely fit anything taller than 17" due to the trunk opening.

nope. are those the bars you have that kinda of make an X when and move up and down when trunk opens and closes?

i have them installed still but they dont work because i think the clip they suppose to stay onto doesnt hold them when i open.

but yes 40" wide, 20 deep" 15 high" you'll have to put the box in at a longated diagnol angle. like push right side of box toward middle right side of trunk. then rest the bottum of the box on the lip of the trunk and then lift the box over where the trunk opening raises and at the same time tilt the box at a downward depth angle. itll slide in after a few readjustments after each step.

pretty decent sized trunk.

looks like u have a 94 xle too james bang from ur sig.

Looks nice. i did q form kick panels in brown tan color and it matches perfectly. but they wont fit 8's =]. sealed back off and put midranges and tweets in there. stuffed some poly fil too.
