Hail to the King Baby!!!!
Im flying home right now, with tons of van work ahead of me.

First thing Im going to do is build the rear wall/baffle. And it will be adjustable.

Then tons of testing.

This build stage will be slower probably, and is very dependant on the weather. If theres snow or its freezing, its gonna make it tough. Well just have to wait and see.

Well so far this part of the build is bad.

Broke my last bits today. I was finishing screwing in the walls.

I have to run out to Lowe's and get some more.

And it sucks when you find out that not everything is symmetrical. I was measuring for the sliding wall today and found that out. Word of advice: get at least one other person to help you build walls.

But I should be testing by the end of the week.

Okay finished up loose ends.

Started the rear sliding wall build.

Going to be roughly 10 in thick.

Total box space I could use is approx 67 cubes.

I think Im going to be testing with one woofer first, since I dont really have all that much power.

Jesus Dan, you got some room to play with.

I picked up 4 MTs from Manny today //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Okay Ive been a little busy the last few days, and not with the van unfortunatley.

Still on track to test by the end of the week, maybe tomorrow.

I ripped my hand open on something. I think it was a screw. Its in much more places all over the floor and on the sides. Maybe the smoothness will increase db's.

Heres the first 2 layers of the back wall firmly glued and screwed. I just have to cut the angles on the corners now.

And the interior is now officially all done, save for fiberglass, but I dont need to do that at this stage. Its pretty cold out, and I have tons of testing to do before I get to any of that.

Test fit of 1/4 of the wall approx.

There are some small gaps on that one side,

Im not too worried about it, as I can adjust for the other layers, and also, it has to be able to slide.

Or what it will really have to be is kicked, since its such a tight fit and its gonna have so many layers on it.

Im debating as to weather attatch the other layers to the back when its already in the van. Its going to be very hard to manuever that thickness into place.

3 layers out of the 4 interior mdf ones, then the 2x4 layer, then finally the last mdf layer. Its solid as hell with it like this, it feels even more solid than my walls. But probably because theres not a cavity of air behind it with weak sheet metal.

If I could start this thing over, I would have done 2x4s everywhere, not just a frame. Or poured concrete. Oh well.

Cut myself again. Same hand. More blood. I have it all over my clothes, not that bad on the wood.

A lot of screws broke on that last layer, as you can see from the pics. They snap like crazy going through the 3rd layer, or hit the screws from the previous layer. Later I have to pop the snapped parts out.
