db electric is ****. I ordered their "250" amp one for my car and installed it and my voltage was worse than my 13 year old stock 130 amp alt. In idle, voltage was literally so low that my lights hardly came on.

I emailed them asking them wtf was up, then called. And the redneck was like "oh das wat its suppoesd to do der dey supply voltage at full rpms" I was like bullshit cause even at full rpms im still getting the same amperage as I was idling on my stock 130

so, returned & refunded

these days, if its too good to be true, it is. 250 amp alt for the same price as a stock 130 amp alt?
