Calculating voltage for PG X600.1

I decided to go with the X600.1 in my new system. I did a search about calucating the voltage but I kept getting mixed responses. I know it makes the same power @ 1-4 ohms, some post said to use the final ohm load of the subs when calculating but others said use 4 ohm regardless of the subs final load since the amp puts out the same power @ 1-4. So which one is it?

i would do the sub final impedance. Seems to make more sense, since thats the load the amp is seeing. but since it is the same wattage over 1-4ohms...im not really sure. Try it this way first, it will get you in the general area...then fine tune with your ears.
