calc help plzzz

Man I forget...

It has to do something with Height times width...the width would be 2 since your going from 0 to 8 with 4 intervals; 8/4=2. Then something like 2*f(2)+2*f(4)+2f(6) + 2*f(8)=*the integral from 0 to 8*f(x)dx...I'm totally not sure though and I'm in CalcII

heres the problem:
how do you find the integral of lx-1l-1 from -1 to 2?

i graphed it and i could use the riemen sums to find the area but im confused on how to go about.
If i remember correctly absolute value graphs are not continious so it would be the negative interval of (x-1)-1 from -1 to 1 plus the interval of (x-1)-1 from 1 to 2. Try that and let me know.

Edit:

Actually im pretty sure thats how you do it....
