Cadence Z7000 Help

I can get this amp for about $220 shipped used. My question is: Does the amp do rated power? Is it worth that amount of money? I've never owned anything cadence. But, I have heard great things about the A7-HC(somethign like that).

I plan to run it on 4 AA Assassin 12's.

amp sucks and doesnt do close to rated power

Why do you say this? I did a search and everyone said it is a great amp that does a bit over rated power.

b/c we have one in a buddy of mines van and it didnt do rated power on 4 12v batts at 1 ohm

Hmm. Would this amp be better than a Hifonics BXI1606D?

My buddy had this to push his Brahma and he loved it...he wished he still kept it. very solid amp according to him.

I have the z9000 and like it a lot. Not sure about the z7000 but i saw a birth sheet of the z9000 and I believe it did a little over rated power which was 800wrms. Not the prettiest amps but stay cool and get the job done
