Cadence 0 gauge?

I bought some of this stuff off of ebay thinking I am upgrading from 4 gauge knu (CCA also), brand new havent used.....When I search I am seeing different results (maybe the cadence wire has change?)

Car Audio | DiyMobileAudio.com | Car Stereo Forum - View Single Post - 1/0 Monster Cable OFC kit $74

Seems like the cadence is a about 0 while the "4 gauge knu" is really closer to 0 gauge?

Here are the amps I am running:

-Audiopipe APSM-1300 (running 1000W @ 1ohm)

-JBL gto1004 (rated at 300WX2)

I was thinking I could upgrade from 4 gauge Knu CCA to 0 gauge cadence CCA but they seem the same?

EDIT: Checked the fuses and the JBL has 3X25 amp fuses; and the audiopipe has 80amp fuse. So 155 amps total.

Good wire is worth the few bucks it costs to go from cheap to decent. You can get a run of 1/0 welding cable for dirt cheap on eBay or around here if you're that pressed for cash.

They can't both be rated correctly. If wire is rated with AWG this is an industry standard. If wire just says "4 gauge", for example, there's no way of knowing without seeing for yourself if it's actual 4 AWG wire. In my opinion, oversizing wire and not accurately labeling it is just as misleading as undersizing the wire. Companies get a pass on this because people think they're getting so much more for their money. Use the AWG standard or GTFO.

Cadence is basically CCA 0 AWG yet knu 4 AWG is basically the same size. Anyone know if CCA 0 AWG should be enough for my system?

Should I maybe just run two runs (cadence and knu)?

If not how is this stuff:

cca is plenty up 2 around 2500 watts 250amps //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Nice. So Knu is underrating their CCA 4 gauge? This is assuming there 4 gauge is oversized and really 0AWG

No. Their 4ga is most likely true 4ga, and the Cadence stuff is most likely undersized. Go with decent, well known branded wire, such as Execution Audio, Sky High Car Audio, KNU, and quite a few others I can't think of right now.

I will wait on that cadence I already ordered and compare it to the Knu 4 gauge I already have. In the meantime have any feedback on the welding wire I posted above? I plan to buy some for the big 3
