CAB 2000.1 Question

I bought a CAB 2k new in box off eBay and want to run it on 2 dual 2 ohm SA12
would .5 be to low or should I run at 2 ohm
Ram 2500 Dual AGM under the hood 180 amp alternator

After rise you should be ok but it is a budget amp with cheaper components so it’s hard to say

Try to find a video of your specific amp. I feel like select cab amps can go .5 ohm and other models cannot

There are a few tests at .5 online but I hoped someone here had hands on experience with doing it.

So go for it. Worst thing that can happen is you blow up the amp and have to claim that warranty. IMO .5 is sketchy even with a higher quality amp; I'd do it but I'd also be prepared to break something.

At 2 ohm it should do 1300 fairly efficient and that should be fine. The Fox Acoustic Dodge Ram box is already a little small to start with at 1.55 per side
