c2 audio

no, hes NOT about "getting us deals". hes a pathetic me2 "brand" owner who will be the same flash in the pan as flxx, or sonic sound labs, or cascade designs. hes buying the min. number of subs, off the shelf, using the buildhouse designs. I highly doubt they are 100% paid for, or hed have them here already (as they are NOT custom built, they are stock units, so very little lead time.) you're right, you shouldn't have posted..ever. now pack up your cheap China crap and go home with your tail between your legs. YOU are worse than the monkeys at c2. you're a basic shill, and provide nothing to this forum, and honestly do more harm to c2's already pathetic image, and I hope for their sake, they realize it before its to late.
oh, and just for fun.. how many woofers are being held back for warranty replacement? or even recones?

i heard he actually designed alot of stuff for his big *** motors and got screwed over by pap

I guess you haven't learned very much then.
SSA and Ascendant are built in the USA, they are not comparable to the others.
FI/AA/SSA are all the same US build house, A couple years (or a short while) ago Crossfire as well.

Sundown/Obsidian/C2...... the woofers by C2 are designed by jacob....

never better Mark. how are you doin bud?
Getting by. Sort of //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Been wanting to head south on vacation. Last year we tried but only made it as far as the Black Hills. Maybe this year will be better...

Well there is much of the problem.
China has basically limited to no QC over there. So it is up to the company to do good QC here in the states. However, when they push sales they just grab a box and toss a label on it to get it out. I have been a part of a few companies that posted all the time saying they tested each item before it shipped. I watched them get unloaded from the truck, then scanned into inventory, then got a UPS/FedEx label slapped on it and right back out the door. Not even checked for physical damage.

It is very tough to go through orders like that. If a company is buying in basic bulk they purchase around 50-100 of each size. So by the time they order each size they have 3-4 pallets minimum to go through. Which means, 9 out of 10 times..nope it don't happen.

Main reason, it slows down shipping times and of course costs money to have someone go though all that product. Which in turn means higher purchasing costs. Since our economy is driven by everyone wanting everything for nothing..that kills the idea of QC right there.
It's a ton of work to test each woofer, absolutely -- we have 2-3 people all day testing products here. Current test area has three complete benches to test woofers and amps -- and the build room has another test bench for built woofers as well. We may need to expand to 4-5 test stations next year as well -- we catch most of any b-stock or defect products this way; to me that is worth it. I don't think that this is a common practice in the industry, though, as it is expensive and time consuming as you stated.

thats amazing. this will definitely make me consider sundown more in my future set ups. you dont come across companies that care this much very often

from what I've learned about car audio so far' date=' whether its sundown, C2, obsidian, american bass, ascendant, ssa, etc, they're all the same shit, different price.
Funniest ish I have read in weeks. Thanks! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
