Not only is it cheap, the damn subs aren't even out yet! And who does a pre-order on the first product of a company? I guess the question should be who would participate in a pre-order on the first product of a company. I just can't wrap my brain around how hard some people are hugging dem nutz.

I wouldn't go that far. While some companies do indeed use the exact same sub with a new badge (many from China) not all do that.

The funny ones are the companies that claim their subs are different then the other companies sub but use 100% the exact same parts.

To an extent, yes. Obviously the products differ a little, some are better for different applications. But why I respect Sundown the most right now is because of all the R&D that Jacob's been doing recently. He's not just taking some design and completely copying it, he's experimenting and coming up with his own. I don't necessarily hug his products, I don't own any Sundown in fact, but I have a lot of respect for the dude and his business because of that. And yes, other companies do that, but the amount that he does is far more. Or maybe it just seems that way because he publishes it more? That's possible as well.

But let's not lose sight of the thread topic. Sorry about that :/

This whole "made in china" hate is stupid too. I don't care where it's made, just don't send me a product with quality control issues. Don't send me a sub with a cracked magnet, shifted pole piece, etc, and we won't have a problem.

I never should have even posted. Flame posts are for people with nothing better to do than b!tch. Chris paid for the subs the week before they shipped out. Pre-sale started 2 weeks after. He's all about getting you guys deals and you're bashing him for it...

And C2 is for Chris and Casey. The TWO owners. 2 C's C2.
