I like how everyone nuthugs C2 but hasn't actually seen real world results from them yet. Typical of this forum.
Agreed I was not impressed with the owners claims either a 141 outta 1 12 should be child's play if you designed the sub you should already know the perfect box for the sub and the whole 3inch coil think means nothing if it can't mechanically take more than 1200w.I like how everyone nuthugs C2 but hasn't actually seen real world results from them yet. You still push the 3inch coil but if you aren't using that much power not that it can take much to sign with then why would you want to run a heavier less efficient coil. Usually the added power makes up for the inefficiencies but it can't take enough power to justify to bigger coil. My bet is the motor cooling ***** so they made it up with a bigger voice coilstrato 400 watts 2.5 vc, Skar vvx proven but your buying used ( you never know if the sub is abused) C2 600 watts 3 inch voice coil, so actually beefier sub.
regarding the 1200watt max on the C2 are you really going to put that much power on these subs? I doubt it.
Fpr the money C2 is my choice and by the way free shipping from a well known Car Audio website.
You always say this same BS. a 3" coil doesn't mean a thing if you can't use it to it's potential. Just cause it has a bigger coil doesn't mean it's better.strato 400 watts 2.5 vc, Skar vvx proven but your buying used ( you never know if the sub is abused) C2 600 watts 3 inch voice coil, so actually beefier sub.

i personally used those q power deluxe before but the VVME when they were $60 bucks is better. i would wait if those VVME will go down on price againYou still push the 3inch coil but if you aren't using that much power not that it can take much to sign with then why would you want to run a heavier less efficient coil. And the fact that the coil jumps gap at 1200w leads me to believe it uses soft spiders which don't require much if any break-in not that I believe a sub need to be broke in. I threw many dd subs on full power out of the box an only had one problem which turned out to be box related and those subs are stuff as hell. I threw 1200w to a set of comp tens out of the box and they didn't have a problem. They actually sounded great surprisingly and I sold them with shiny coils and no defects.
So how does a 150w sub hold 4x rated power with a 1.5inch voice coil but this barely handles double with double the coil size an an easy 4x the coil surface area
My pick is really none of these subs you want a good sub for uber cheap get a QPower new deluxe 3inch coil in the 12 and I've personally seen them take serious abuse like dumb pot heads clipping them for 6months and comin back for 4more to have 6 12s we used to use dirty crunch pz1500.1s for power to.
I might actually use them myself in my next build to see what I can squeeze outta that cheap azz sub
Just a follow up as I think I need to atleast say something here. 141 on Music NOT a sweep Not a Burp. It was in the back of a Journey sealed up mic on Dash. The idea for the vid was for the guy looking to have a street beater not as a SPL car. I can put one Threatcon-2 12" in a CRX, build a steel and concrete box, tune it to 68HZ burp it and pull a crazy high numbers but honestly what does that prove? Just relax and let me prove the woofer. Let some customers have time to put some you tube vids up and I will also be posting a few more builds over the next few weeks. If you dont like the woofer after you see more than so be it... but for now you need to atleast play with one before making a decision. I understand the skepticism but give C2 a chance to prove the Threatcon-2 sub is the Best Bank for buck woofer on the market under $130. -Chris
I think any of the sub company owners should just refrain from posting in said thread. Sound good?
You have no reason to clarify something if someone is misinformed, that's something they can freely lookup on here and takes no time with search. you relax :/ the woofer will prove itself without you. If you want people to play with one, send a few out for free. or have them pay shipping or something. I recommend taylorfade/buck/etc.
Didn't you claim 100w out of a vvme 4channel amp push it on people them someone clamped it for 23w clean. I went back and read those post. Your claim of 100w on the amp turned out false so any claim here is going to remain false to me because you seem to not know what you are talking bout reading those old post.i personally used those q power deluxe before but the VVME when they were $60 bucks is better. i would wait if those VVME will go down on price again
