Hey, I bought an amp used from someone here and he didn't ship me the remote as he said he would.Anyway , I had a bxi1606d prior to buying this one. It blow (on capacitor constant +12terminal fault) anyway, the remote bass knob on it ain't got the same exact wire to plug it at the remote and amp input.

mine was from the lastest generation of 1606d (mine look like a 1608d but black) but the rca configuration and the overall design + 2x70fuse make it look exactly like a 1608d and it was bought under 1 year ago. Anyway, do you think it's possible to order/buy local a wire that ain't got the same terminal on each size, so i can keep my other knob and wire it to the 2006d i just got.

I'll post pics once i get home but the used 2006d remote bass wire terminal it thinner and got a little more height than on the 1606d last gen. The 1606d last gen remote bass knob terminal i had prior look exactly like a phone cord

the pics are here, for unknown reason i can't post those

] this is the 2006d i just got and that i need the cord terminal

08 model seems to only have 8 little metal pin and the 06 version only got 6 :???: are they well know wire?

edit: I've got a HFR-3 And i need a DCR-1 remote or cord adapter Any way to convert signal?

who can i contact at maxxsonics that could help me?

customer service. and i 100% guarantee they don't use all 8 wires.
I haven't found the customer service number or email (prefer email... i'm in canada). Who do i need to contact, their website isn't update since 2004 like

I can't acces their forum for an unknow reason too

i have the cord you need unused but i want to keep it. sorry. the cord will either b a standard telephone wire cord 4 or 6 pins iirc
yeah i realize i need a 6pin cord to connect to the amp , so that's fine i can probably find one almost anywhere.

But then to connect my 8pin remote bass knob, can i use a 4/6pin too , even if that part is made for a 8pin. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif will it fit in?

argh it's an 8 pin on the knob? i can't imagine they use all of those wires...i would think they would only need 3-4 wires tops. well you're probably screwed. then and just need to get the correct knob for your amp.

edit: i tried putting the 4pin telephone cord on both the amp and the remote knob. they clip so that,s a good new but it doesn't work so that's a bad news //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

i'll try with a 6pin if i can find one. Does pin converter (8 into 6) exist?
