I have a issue going on and I really need some technical help on it. I have two sets of SLC 265.25 KICK NG Component speakers. They are all hooked up to a Hifonics ZXI 8408 amplifier. When I first installed everything I didn't have any problems at all everything worked perfectly.... Ok so I was driving along and one of the crossovers in the back of my car fell off and pulled out the speaker wires going to one of the speaker woofers and all of a sudden I here a whoop and a pause and then a loud whoop whoop and then all of a sudden all four of my tweeters started to make a buzzing/humming sound..... When the car is on the humming is louder then if the car is not on. When the volume is on 0 you can hear the buzzing/humming sound and when you turn up the music the humming sound does not get louder but still is there.... Now I know that the speaker wire or the crossover had to of hit some metal or something, would that ruin the crossover? I checked all my fuses on the amp and the power distribution block I have and they are all fine. All my amps go on. But there is a weird thing going on with my Power Distribution block now the amp reader on my power distribution block is reading the amps and it is going from 50 to 120 and I have two 80 amp fuses in there, and I remember before it didn't do that but that might not have anything to do with the problem.... But all the speakers still work when I turn the sound up and they still sound good except for the loud buzz do you have any clue what could be causing this? If one of the crossovers was having issues would it cause that? Or could it be a issue with the RCA's? Any help with this issue would help me out so much I can give you more info just ask thanks a lot for your time.
