Buying T1 Sub

Im buying a T1 12" sub. On the site it calls for a box thats 2.25 cu ft @ 40Hz. Should i go by that or no? And what amp should i go with? . btw the sub is 600 watt rms and Im not sure if i should go with a 4 ohm or 2 ohm. Let me hear your opinions please.

build the box to spec, it sounds good for a RF. RF has a power 500/2 that would work well.

I would tune to low 30s, and go with d2 so you can get an amp that does 600+ rms @ 1ohm
