I trust factory refurbs, they usually have to go through tougher examinations then new items before they are let back out on the market.

i bought a digital camera from ebay that was fact refurb and the **** thing dont work right. it will only take pics in direct sun light. kodak wont fix it b/c i dont have the "original" reciept and the store i bought it from wont fix it for me. they tell me to call kodak. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I purchased my MTX RT202 amp from stereo direct, through ebay almost four years ago as a factory refurb, and it still works just fine. Thing is a little powerhouse.

i never had any problems with refurbished items

same....bought many o refurbed stuff. ussually refurbed stuff will have a 90 day warranty. if it doesnt break within 90 days it wont likely break after that assuming you dont abuse it.

had a kx2500.1 refurb that was a bad ***. took tons of abuse @ 1 ohm (below rated imp) and did so flawlessly....

I bought a referb Rockford Fosgate P8004 on EBay and is smoked from the start. I didnt want to wait for the EBay seller to make it good so I called RF. The guy there asked me for the serial number and then proceeded to tell me it was an Amp they produced that did not pass there quality control so they sold them off.

I was pissed and decide to pay RF like $100 to fix it. Then it was cool.
